**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex software applications, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Your primary focus will be on product development, system integration, and architecture design. You will work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical product roadmaps, including prototypes to validate business needs and proof of concepts.

Additionally, you will provide application operational and technical support for products in-scope, ensure product availability, resilience, and security, and serve as the technical lead for in-house software development teams.

You will also work regularly with engineers to engage in conversations regarding their performance, professional growth, offering constructive feedback, mentoring, and guidance as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product development, system integration, and architecture design for applications used by public officers.
  • Manage application development teams and ensure alignment with product roadmaps and requirements.
  • Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical product roadmaps, including prototypes to validate business needs and proof of concepts.
  • Provide application operational and technical support for products in-scope.
  • Ensure product availability, resilience, and security, including L2 support in product incident management.
  • Serve as the technical lead for in-house software development teams, coaching and managing them to deliver project outcomes effectively.
  • Work regularly with engineers to engage in conversations regarding their performance, professional growth, offering constructive feedback, mentoring, and guidance as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in application architecture, system integration, and data architecture.
  • Experience in modern full-stack web application technologies; experience in modern front-end engineering like React Native (Typescript, Javascript), native iOS (Swift, objective C); Nodejs(Typescript) or dotNet(C#) on the backend are preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading development teams and managing outsourced vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, SRE, and Cloud Computing practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing prototypes for proof of concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
