Job Overview

We are seeking a Trade and Markets specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end support to the Treasury and Markets team on Foreign Exchange, Money Market, and Non-Deliverable Forward products across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate validation and timely settlement of all relevant trades in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Support FX CLS processes across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Korea entities by ensuring smooth transaction execution and minimizing exceptions
  • Participate in critical initiatives and process improvements to enhance productivity and ensure successful implementation
  • Perform data analysis and problem-solving at a senior level, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Proactively seek opportunities for data discovery and insight to drive business growth and optimization

Job Duties:

  • Validate new Foreign Exchange, Money Market, and Non-Deliverable Forwards trades against source documents in Murex or Front Arena systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Authorize payments and receipts for above-mentioned Treasury products, maintaining robust risk management practices
  • Perform NDF Fixing procedures in Murex and Front Arena systems, coordinating with counterparties and local T&M Ops for settlement or fixing
  • Monitor and handle end-to-end CLS process, including exception handling and follow-ups, to ensure seamless transaction execution
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks or exceptions within stipulated turnaround time, maintaining high-quality service delivery
  • Effectively manage inquiries related to pre and post-trade activities, providing timely and accurate responses

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in banking and financial sector, preferably in trade and markets operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
