We're seeking an exceptional individual to join our team in performing functional testing on Solid-State Drives (SSDs) through execution of tests, both automated and manual.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with experience in OS installation, assembly, and debugging of laptop/desktop systems.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of system storage and peripherals, comfort working in ESD-protected labs, server rooms, and noisy environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional testing on SSDs through execution of tests
  • Initial failure analysis and collaboration with Validation engineers to resolve test failures
  • Modify functional test scripts to achieve targeted test coverage
  • Debug and evaluate issues with Firmware engineers
  • Participate in setting up test environment and servers for validation
  • Tabulate test results and generate reports for firmware health monitoring

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Experience with OS installation, assembly, and debugging of laptop/desktop systems
  • Knowledge of system storage and peripherals
  • Comfortable working in ESD-protected labs, server rooms, and noisy environments
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Good teamwork skills across sites and time zones
