Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with vulnerable individuals and families, providing high-quality support and services in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized intervention plans to address the unique needs of each family.
  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and counseling to selected families/children/young persons, promoting positive relationships and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement safety and intervention plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community resources, advocacy groups, and local organizations to provide wraparound services and support.
  • Supervise and mentor social workers, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working with child protection, mental health, and/or family violence issues.
  • Strong communication skills, maturity, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with professionals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining composed and professional under pressure.
  • Capacity to engage and work with children and adolescents, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
