Robotics Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative drone systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and modify guidance, navigation, and flight control systems and algorithms for unmanned aircraft systems.
  • Create and refine 6-DOF and hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments.
  • Evaluate and integrate new sensors or navigation systems onto drone systems.
  • Write, modify, and test firmware and flight code in C or C++.
  • Analyze flight data to verify performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Document GNC systems and algorithms developed.
  • Collaborate with staff in other engineering and business groups.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in GNC.
  • Strong background in system modeling, system identification, parameter estimation, and frequency response analysis.
  • Experience in system modeling and control, analysis, and simulation in aircraft applications.
  • Expertise in model-based design and analyses using MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Knowledge in inertial and other types of sensors for navigation.
  • Understanding of Kalman filtering, digital signal processing, and sensor data fusion.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
  • Proficiency in software and development tools such as Linux, ROS, and Git.
