Role Responsibilities
  • Develop behavior/motion planning algorithms for autonomous vehicles, including decision-making and trajectory generation.
  • Implement, test, and validate behavior and motion planning algorithms in simulation environments and/or on vehicles.
  • Optimize existing behavior/motion planning algorithms for performance, safety, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams across different domains to ensure robust integration of planning algorithms.
  • Analyze test data and simulation results to assess algorithm performance and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in C++.
  • Understanding of behavior planning, decision-making frameworks (e.g., finite state machines, behavior trees), or related AI techniques.
  • Experience with Motion Planning algorithms, such as RRT, RRT*, and other graph-search based algorithms.
  • Experience with ROS and real-world autonomous systems or robots.
