Job Title: Data Infrastructure Strategist

This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of network and application infrastructure projects. A strong understanding of SLA and technical expertise are essential to ensure systems meet the highest standards of availability, security, and compliance.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into network/application infrastructure designs and services that meet intended availability, capacity, resiliency, security, and continuity needs.
  • Manage budgets to support project initiatives and ongoing maintenance contracts.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure solutions to meet confidentiality, availability, and data integrity requirements.
  • Oversight of day-to-day delivery and support of infrastructure services, ensuring operational stability, performance, and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with other government agencies and central service teams to facilitate and deliver government-wide infrastructure projects.
  • Coordination with vendors and stakeholders for project planning, contract renewals, and performance reviews.
  • Prepare project documentation including design specifications, system architecture, and operational guidelines.
  • Risk assessments, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to cybersecurity and governance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new technologies, recommending enhancements, and streamlining processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members in infrastructure design and support.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise-level ICT infrastructure for end-point services.
