Job Title: Network Infrastructure Strategist

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Strategist to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to design, develop and maintain complex network architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage data network devices in the primary data centre, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of wireless LAN, wired LAN, and routers to optimize configuration, bandwidth, policy classification, peak hour traffic analysis, and traffic encryption.
  • Provide strategic network solutions for major brands like Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Huawei, and F5 load balancers.
  • Design and architect networks to ensure high availability, resiliency, and scalability.
  • Develop and implement QoS standards and best practices to ensure efficient network operation.
  • Implement layer 3 routing, layer 2 optimization, centralized configuration backup, and network monitoring recommendations to ensure seamless network operation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in relevant fields, with expertise in network solutioning, technical support, and project management.
  • Proficiency in switches, performance testing, MPLS VPN, troubleshooting, traffic analysis, CCNA, solutioning, CCNP, high availability, routing, wireless, network design, QoS, routers, encryption, firewalls, and technical support.
