IT Infrastructure Strategist

A key opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled IT infrastructure expert to design and maintain our digital landscape, ensuring resilience, security, and scalability.

  • Develop and implement infrastructure solutions that guarantee high availability, performance, and security across all systems.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement upgrades as needed.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support their technology needs and drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in computer engineering or related field.
  • Experience with Linux systems and ability to work with complex infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with building and managing large-scale compute clusters in academic or industrial settings.
  • Knowledge of high-performance networking and data storage concepts and technologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure the security of our systems.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
