Job Summary



As a key member of the Human Resources team at Careers@Gov, you will play a critical role in enhancing and leading employee engagement and staff wellbeing initiatives. You will provide guidance to your team and work closely with senior management to drive improvements in our workplace experience and culture.



This position requires a passionate leader who is proactive, innovative and people-centric, with a strong desire to collaborate to provide value-added HR services.



Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct Employee Engagement Surveys and regular pulse checks to gather feedback from employees and use the data to drive improvements in our workplace experience and culture.
  • Undertake regular reviews to understand and identify the needs, experiences and expectations of our diverse workforce and design and execute programmes and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Organise organisation-wide events and activities, such as management-staff engagement sessions and staff engagement & appreciation events, to strengthen employee engagement and promote a sense of community, appreciation and recognition in the workplace.
  • Develop innovative approaches to adapt to the changing landscape of work, including hybrid work and new technologies.
  • Oversee benefits administration and the review of policies such as leave, medical scheme, WICA insurance and staff-related awards.


Requirements


  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management or related fields.
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience, with familiarity in employee employment, staff wellbeing and various HR functions, and with at least four years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to collaborate to provide value-added HR services.
  • A team player who is independent, resilient, resourceful with proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and driving change.
  • A people manager who is strong in coaching and developing teams.
  • Proficient and with a strong data-driven mindset with the ability to gather insights, analyse employee feedback and HR metrics to drive improvements in employee engagement and work culture initiatives.
  • Some experience with Workday HR System, Robotics Process Automation, Chatbots and Macro programming will be advantageous.
