We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at ASSISI HOSPICE. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with mobility needs, and performing patient care tasks.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, filing of documents, and reporting occurrences and patient observations to the Registered Nurse.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organization at all times, including the safe storage of food items and proper waste disposal.
- Communication and Teamwork: Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in matters involving patient care.
- Education and Experience: At least a GCE N Level or Certificate in Healthcare Assistant or equivalent, and at least 2 years of working experience as a Patient Care Assistant.
- Skills and Qualities: Possess a strong sense of responsibility for safety, patient care, and considerate and courteous towards patients, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
As a Patient Care Assistant at ASSISI HOSPICE, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, and to develop your skills and knowledge in patient care and healthcare administration.
