Job Title: Regulatory Operations Expert

At Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, Asia Pacific Head Office, we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Operations Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Bank's regulatory reporting requirements are met in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.

About the Role:

The Regulatory Operations Expert will be responsible for ensuring overall regulatory adherence for HKMA, MAS, and ASIC transaction regulatory reporting obligations. This includes supporting local operations in Korea and Japan on KRX/JFSA transaction reporting matters, responding to Global Markets business on transaction regulatory reporting queries, and partnering with technology and development teams to deliver transaction re-writes for MAS/ASIC and HKMA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure overall regulatory adherence for HKMA, MAS, and ASIC transaction regulatory reporting obligations from a timeliness, accuracy, and completeness perspective.
  • Support local operations in Korea and Japan on KRX/JFSA transaction reporting matters.
  • Respond to Global Markets business on transaction regulatory reporting queries for existing business or NPA queries.
  • Partner effectively with technology and development teams to deliver transaction re-writes for MAS/ASIC and HKMA.
  • Monitor exception reports and allocate to relevant teams; track resolution and escalate where necessary.
  • Perform control checks to ensure trades are reported timely, accurately, and completely.
  • Perform root cause analysis or exceptions with investigation and appropriate escalation of any significant issues found through testing, rejection remediation, or other streams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in APAC regulatory transaction reporting in investment banking operations.
  • Proven knowledge of FX OTC Derivatives.
  • Proven knowledge of Derivatives Middle Office function, with proven experience in business analysis and risk and control background.
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related courses.
  • Ability to work under pressure, understand complex business specifications, and data requirements, and able to work on tight deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven experience in working in virtual teams and matrixed organization regionally and globally; effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
