About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Operations Expert to join our team at Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, Asia Pacific Head Office. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business in meeting regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure overall regulatory adherence for HKMA, MAS, and ASIC transaction regulatory reporting obligations from a timeliness, accuracy, and completeness perspective.
  • Support local operations in Korea and Japan on KRX/JFSA transaction reporting matters.
  • Respond to Global Markets business on transaction regulatory reporting queries for existing business or NPA (New Product Approval) queries.
  • Partner effectively with technology and development teams to deliver transaction re-writes for MAS/ASIC and HKMA; review project support documents such as business requirements documents, functional specification documents, support operating models, and test plans.
  • Monitor exception reports and allocate to relevant teams; track resolution and escalate where necessary; perform control checks to see if trades are reported timely, accurately, and completely.
  • Perform root cause analysis or exceptions with investigation and appropriate escalation of any significant issues found through testing, rejection remediation, or any other stream to senior management and key internal stakeholders in Compliance, Country Management, and Technology to ensure transparency of our controls within appropriate governance models.
  • Support the design and conceptualization of new business solution options and articulate identified impacts and risks; manage the issue resolution projects to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in APAC regulatory transaction reporting in investment banking operations.
  • Proven knowledge of FX OTC Derivatives.
  • Proven knowledge of Derivatives Middle Office function, with proven experience in business analysis and risk and control background.
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related courses.
  • Ability to work under pressure, understand complex business specifications as well as data requirements, and able to work on tight deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven experience in working in virtual teams and matrixed organization regionally and globally; effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
