Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, and Halal.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  3. Perform routine in-process checks to guarantee products meet required quality standards before product release.
  4. Maintain accurate records of lab test results, sampling schedules, non-conformance reports, and certificates of analysis.
  5. Evaluate and monitor the quality of raw materials, assist in supplier audits, and address quality concerns.
  6. Investigate production deviations, identify root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
  7. Provide training to production staff on food safety practices and quality standards, promoting awareness across the organization.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring compliance with food safety standards and participate in internal/external audits to maintain certifications and quality systems.
  9. Responsible for implementing MUIS Halal Certification conditions and addressing any non-compliance issues.
  10. Work closely with production teams to forecast demand and align procurement schedules.
  11. Monitor stock levels and coordinate just-in-time deliveries to minimize wastage & storage.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
