We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the safety and quality of products sourced from China.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead comprehensive analysis of food ingredients, products, and manufacturing processes to ensure proactive compliance with regulations and import standards.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee robust protocols for analyzing microbiological and chemical reports, providing expert guidance on packaging and storage to guarantee product safety and quality.
  • Manage end-to-end process of new product packaging development, coordinating with suppliers to ensure food labeling requirements are met and align with business objectives.
  • Take a leading role in conducting and interpreting shelf-life and sensory evaluations, compiling detailed reports to support product enhancement and market analysis.
  • Be accountable for the integrity of the China product database, ensuring all technical documents and product information for shelf-stable product categories are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Analyze data, test results, customer feedback, and supplier audit reports to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Australia, New Zealand, Europe, UK, or Canada food legislation will be advantageous.
  • Experience in manufacturing, import/export, or food wholesale will be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles with proven experience in HACCP, ISO 22000, and quality management processes.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
