We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead comprehensive audits, risk assessments, and ICT governance reviews. The ideal candidate will oversee critical systems and environments, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security frameworks, and emerging technologies.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Developing customised audit programmes and checklists to assess IT risks and internal controls.
  • Planning and managing annual audits using risk-based methodologies and continuous monitoring.
  • Coordinating with outsourced resources and ensuring audit deliverables meet quality standards.

This role involves conducting ICT and security audits for designated systems and environments, focusing on privacy and data security controls. The ideal candidate will also evaluate ICT governance maturity and organisational risk posture, recommending improvements to strengthen governance, privacy frameworks, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT audit, ICT governance, or risk assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy, cloud services, AI governance, and frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
  • Experience in auditing complex IT environments, including hybrid cloud and sensitive systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and ability to formulate strategic recommendations.
