Process Development Specialist

The role of Process Development Specialist is crucial in the development of manufacturing processes that meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities include developing and modifying process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards.

As a Process Development Specialist, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, maintain, and support manufacturing processes.

This includes recommending improvements, solving problems, and optimizing costs and schedules.

Project milestones are achieved through collaboration and teamwork, ensuring global patient needs are met.

Some of your key tasks will be:

  • Developing manufacturing instructions and SOPs
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting process control systems
  • Assessing processes technically and evaluating improvements
  • Investigating quality and safety issues during manufacturing
  • Implementing preventive measures and monitoring process improvements
  • Ensuring safety and quality standards are followed
  • Communicating process updates regularly
  • Training technicians and engineers as needed

To excel in this role, you will need:

Minimum Requirements:

A degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical) or Science (Major in Chemistry)

Proactive with strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Effective team collaboration skills

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of Process Engineering, Lean, and Six Sigma

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to adapt and work under pressure

Results-driven with commitment and urgency
