Job Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee the optimal operation and efficiency of a wood/metal shredder plant. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take charge of production levels and machinery reliability by conducting thorough root cause investigations to enhance performance.

  • Ensure production levels and machinery reliability through rigorous analysis and proactive maintenance.
  • Achieve incident-free and reliable operations, including timely maintenance of systems.
  • Address all job requisitions, complaints, breakdowns, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaborate with the production team and other stakeholders, manage ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Work with purchasers for spare parts procurement, stock, and inventory control.
  • Guarantee up-to-date plant and machinery documentation and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.
  • Verify technical, environmental, and safety compliance with regulations.
Requirements
  • Candidate must hold at least a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Required knowledge: hydraulic system, rotating parts, conveyor belts.
  • Required to work 5.5 days.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Positive working attitude.
  • Able to work in dusty environments.
