Technical Engineering Section Manager

\Job Summary:\

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Engineering Section Manager to lead our team in optimizing plant equipment performance, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring seamless plant operations.

\About the Role:\

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Shutdown Maintenance (SDM) activities, managing work request closures, supporting equipment modifications, and planning SDM schedules and activities.

\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Take charge of plant equipment and facility PM, manage work request closures, support equipment modifications, and plan SDM schedules and activities.\
  • Lead workplace safety and health activities within the Technical Engineering Section (TES).\
  • Manage Exceptional Case Reports (ECRs) for equipment, ensuring reduction and timely closure.\
  • Ensure compliance with company MS Control Systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.\
  • Manage section budgets, manpower planning, and yearly operational plans.\
  • Develop, train, and mentor staff to maintain high competency and performance levels.\

      • \
      • Degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\
      • Minimum 5 years in the manufacturing industry, with team management experience.\
      • Familiarity with ISO certification processes; strong knowledge of chemical plant operations and ESH/safety regulations.\
      • Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage tasks, resources, and manpower.\
      • Proven leadership and people management skills.\
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.\
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally.\
      • Proficient in MS Office.\
      • Safety-conscious and quality-driven.\
