Job Summary:

This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to implement effective HR operational processes that drive business growth and employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading HR initiatives, managing performance appraisals, and collaborating on strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Provide strategic guidance to HR Business Partners on establishing sound HR operational processes within their respective client groups.
  • Serve as the go-to person for questions and provide support for the growth of HR Business Partners.
  • Monitor and manage performance appraisals of HR Business Partners.

Additional Responsibilities:

">
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR to offer support and execution of strategic HR projects for the whole organization.
  • Participate in projects driven and managed by the HR team to enhance working lives for all employees, including growing CPD through stand-alone projects and strengthening teams through team projects.

Subject Matter Expertise:

">
  • Performance Management
  • Governance over HRIS data integrity
  • Preparation and analysis of multiple HR reports (especially ad hoc) where necessary in partnership with Payroll Specialist and HRBPs.
  • Management of school-wide Mandatory Training

Individual Contributor (HRBP):

">
  • Support respective client groups by being their main point of contact in all HR matters, including discussing and working in collaboration with School Sub-Heads/Operation Dept Heads regarding staffing, HR advisory services, and other topics relating to employee wellbeing.
  • Drive and manage performance management cases within respective client groups.
  • Work closely with leaders within respective client groups for HR projects and procedures relevant to the needs of these departments.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities for respective client groups, including alignment around staffing needs and recruitment approach with hiring managers.
  • Advertise vacancies through applicable job advertisement platforms.
  • Coordinate all interview and selection processes, including screening applicants, scheduling interviews, designing interview questions, and attending interviews and assessments.
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts and new hire documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Payroll Specialist for all new joiners.
  • Manage the onboarding process for successful candidates, including compliance training and new starter induction program.
  • Manage the needs of expatriate hires while liaising with vendors (e.g., visa application, shipping, and temporary accommodation) to ensure a seamless relocation experience.
  • Manage the probation period process to work with managers when approaching mid and end-of-probation reviews.

Exit Procedures and Offboarding:

  • Process and manage exit procedures for leaving employees, including working closely with line managers to complete terminations (resignations, end of contract, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the Payroll Specialist for all leaving employees.
  • Complete exit procedures for all leaving employees within respective client groups.
">

Life Cycle:

">
  • Work with employees, their managers, and/or teams to support any life cycle events such as probation (pass, extensions, failures), family-friendly leave (maternity, paternity, childcare), any other leave (annual, NS, compassionate, training, etc.), visa renewals (where required), learning & development, and administration (creating and updating new and existing letters/processes/procedures).

Requirements:

">
  • Recognised degree in HRM or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR Generalist/Business Partner experience essential.
  • Solid managerial experience.
">

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on recruitment
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Person Specifications:

  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion essential
  • High level of data management, reporting, and presentation is required for this position
  • Project Management skills
  • Payroll knowledge (from a checking perspective only) and HRIS platform knowledge preferred
