IT Service Desk Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Engineer to provide technical support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues via phone and email, performing first-level troubleshooting, and escalating incidents to higher-level resolver groups as needed.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of ITIL principles. Key Responsibilities- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone and email.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting on reported incidents and escalate as necessary.
- Manage customer expectations and notify team lead of unusual call surges.
- Track progress of resolution and provide regular updates to customers.
- Classify and prioritize incidents, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of ITIL principles and Windows 7.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
