Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Engineer to provide technical support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues via phone and email, performing first-level troubleshooting, and escalating incidents to higher-level resolver groups as needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of ITIL principles. Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide timely and effective technical support to customers via phone and email.
  2. Perform first-level troubleshooting on reported incidents and escalate as necessary.
  3. Manage customer expectations and notify team lead of unusual call surges.
  4. Track progress of resolution and provide regular updates to customers.
  5. Classify and prioritize incidents, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of ITIL principles and Windows 7.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
