Advanced PCB Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCB Design Engineer to lead the development of intricate printed circuit boards (PCBs) that meet and exceed client expectations.

This senior role involves overseeing the creation of complex electronic assemblies from initial conceptualization to delivery.

  • Develop detailed designs and netlists based on customer requirements and schematics.
  • Perform layout tasks such as component placement, routing, trace length adjustment, and verification.
  • Apply in-depth electrical knowledge to ensure PCBs meet project specifications, particularly in areas like high-speed design, RF, and power.
  • Implement manufacturability by collaborating with suppliers and adhering to industry best practices to minimize costs and maximize yield.
  • Verify new internal tools and provide valuable feedback to the development team.
  • Streamline design processes to reduce cycle time, defects, and improve product performance.
  • Produce comprehensive design documents and training materials.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in electrical engineering or relevant field.
  • Diploma holders with at least 5 years relevant experience may be considered.
  • Substantial experience in analog and mixed-signal PCB design, interfacing with fab houses for improved manufacturability.
  • Proficiency in Cadence Allegro/ Valor and/or PAD Power PCB.
  • Strong understanding of logical net-listings, schematic usage, electrical rules creation, signal integrity optimization.
  • Experience working with blind, buried, and micro vias is advantageous.
  • Scripting skills, particularly in languages like Python, are beneficial.
  • RF, backplane, electrical package design/routing experiences and semiconductor testing environment expertise are advantages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to consistently meet project deadlines.
