Job Description

As a Turnaround Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive turnaround plans that ensure the safe and efficient execution of mechanical and civil works within approved premises, work processes, and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and optimizing detailed plans and schedules to efficiently execute scope of work, including resource allocation, material management, and completeness of work packs.
  • Breaking down scope into manageable activities, assigning resources, durations, and developing bill of materials and work packages.
  • Coordinating with various disciplines, operations, maintenance, engineering, procurement, and cost engineering throughout the planning and execution stages to ensure compliance with health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE), quality, duration, and cost targets.

Successful candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 3-5 years of experience in turnaround/maintenance or project work, or 5-10 years in maintenance/turnaround/pitstop/construction in a refinery or petrochemical plant.

Required skills and qualifications include competence in organizing and preparing work scope and method statements, strong supervisory skills, good communication skills, and knowledge of HSE regulatory compliance in plant projects.
