Early Childhood Therapist Role

The primary objective of this Early Childhood Therapist position is to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children across various early childhood and developmental programmes.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering holistic, client-and-family-centred care in a therapy hub environment.

  • Conduct thorough assessments and design goal-directed occupational therapy interventions to address developmental, sensory, motor, and functional challenges in children.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and team members in creating and implementing Individualised Intervention Plans (IIPs) tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Deliver therapy sessions in a variety of settings, including classrooms, centres, and community areas, adapting to meet the diverse requirements of each child.
  • Develop and implement home-based programs and training for caregivers to support the child's ongoing development beyond therapy sessions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to ensure comprehensive care planning for each child.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Be fully registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.
  • Demonstrate passion for working with children and their families, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Prior experience in paediatric occupational therapy, early childhood intervention, or special education settings is highly advantageous.
  • New graduates with a strong interest in paediatrics are welcome to apply.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative team-oriented approach, and a proactive positive work ethic.
