Occupational Therapist Wanted: DCD Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill a specialist role in developmental coordination disorder (DCD). The successful candidate will assess and provide intervention for children with DCD and their families, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for children with DCD, autism, learning difficulties, and developmental delay.
  • Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to implement strategies promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Effectively work with our multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care meeting the child's medical, therapeutic, and educational needs.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and program evaluations ensuring optimal outcomes for patients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Experience working with children with DCD and other developmental disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
