Job Title: Electrical Project Manager - Senior

As a seasoned electrical project manager, you will oversee the execution of electrical works in construction or infrastructure projects. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the team and ensure that all electrical systems are installed and commissioned according to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, budgets, and milestones.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Review and approve electrical engineering plans and specifications.
  • Monitor progress against schedules and adjust as necessary.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical and low-voltage systems.
  • Ensure proper coordination with other disciplines, including civil and mechanical engineers.
  • Manage teams of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance to ensure that quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of site work to ensure compliance with local codes and industry best practices.
  • Manage QA/QC processes, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Develop and manage project budgets specific to electrical scope.
  • Monitor project costs and control expenditures to stay within budget.
  • Approve invoices, change orders, and negotiate with vendors/subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings and prepare reports for senior management or clients.
  • Address and resolve any conflicts, delays, or technical issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation, including as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranties.
  • Oversee final testing, commissioning, and client handover.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for future projects.
