As a Part-Time Lecturer for EE6506 Power Semiconductor Based Converter in Renewable Energy Systems, you will be responsible for teaching this 13-week course to students taking the NTU EEE MSc Power Engineering (PE) Programme. Your objective will be to create a comprehensive background on theoretical, practical, and design aspects of power semiconductor devices and passive components. You will illustrate your points through examples, problem solutions, applications, and case studies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach the EE6506 Power Semiconductor Based Converter in Renewable Energy Systems course
• Create a comprehensive background on theoretical, practical, and design aspects of power semiconductor devices and passive components
• Cover techniques of device selection, control, and protection of power semiconductor devices
• Use examples, problem solutions, applications, and case studies to illustrate key concepts

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have extensive relevant industry experience or at least a PhD degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with a research background. Past teaching experience in a similar subject at the Postgraduate Level is preferred. The candidate must be passionate about teaching and able to commit at least 5 months to this position.
