Banking Project Manager
\About the Role:
Singapore, a hub for banking technology, is where this key position is based. As a seasoned project manager with a background in financial systems, you will be responsible for overseeing loan-related banking solutions from start to finish.
This role requires experience in both onshore and offshore delivery models, working closely with teams across Singapore and Greater China regions. You will lead hybrid teams of onsite members and remote developers, ensuring seamless collaboration and successful project execution.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and fluency in both English and Mandarin. A track record of managing complex projects, coaching team members, and driving business growth is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery of loan-related banking solutions
- Manage and coach onsite teams, coordinating with offshore development centers
- Collaborate with remote development teams in various countries
Requirements:
- 10+ years of IT project delivery experience in banking or financial services
- Prior hands-on experience in at least two roles: Business Analyst, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead
- Minimum 3+ years as a Project Manager leading medium-to-large scale implementations
- Strong experience in loan business systems, including retail loans, mortgage, SME, and commercial lending platforms
- Familiarity with core banking systems, API/Middleware integrations, and loan origination, decisioning, and servicing workflows
