
Strategic Development Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Executive to join our organisation and play a key role in the development and execution of our strategic goals, plans and initiatives. As a seasoned professional with strong project management and implementation planning skills, you will foster effective collaborations among various stakeholders and uphold compliance with corporate governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Head of Department (HOD) and the department in developing and executing the organisation's strategic goals, plans and initiatives.
- Facilitate the planning and execution of annual management workplan retreats and organisational team building retreats.
- Implement and lead the execution of hospital initiatives and events designed to promote organisation development and learning, while aligning with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain policies to ensure adherence to corporate governance and Code of Governance for Charities and IPCs.
- Prepare and manage governance documentation (e.g. Governance Evaluation Checklist and other internal documentations).
- Support annual Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) exercise to identify and mitigate potential risk.
- Manage and maintain organisation performance dashboard and track progress against strategic objectives.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure regular reporting on progress, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate necessary adjustments.
- Provide comprehensive secretariat support for key senior management, management, Board and sub-Board meetings.
- Assist in the preparation of materials and reports for quarterly Board meetings and relevant sub-board meetings.
- Organise and support engagement activities and manage the follow-up actions to address areas for improvement.
- Facilitate learning visits and corporate hosting events.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by the HOD or Reporting Officer.
- Recognised degree, preferably in Business, Hospital Management or any other healthcare-related discipline.
- At least one to two years of experience.
- Exposure to charity, healthcare or community care sector is advantageous.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
