Job Description

The role of a Cost Estimator is pivotal in the construction sector, ensuring that projects are executed within approved limits. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive cost estimates, preparing project budgets, and tracking expenditure.


A successful Quantity Surveyor will possess excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with knowledge of contract management, cost estimation, and project execution practices.

  • Develop accurate and timely financial updates and reports to project leaders and stakeholders.
  • Identify cost-saving measures and strategies to enhance project profitability.
  • Work closely with project teams to address and resolve financial or contractual challenges.
  • Ensure all activities align with current industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To excel as a Quantity Surveyor, candidates should possess:

  • Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Candidates can expect a competitive salary package, including basic salary, incentives, overtime pay, and variable bonuses. This is a permanent position with a flexible working schedule of 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
