Job Description: BIM Modeller

As a seasoned BIM modeller, you will play a pivotal role in developing precise and detailed 3D models of ACMV systems.

  • Utilize your expertise to create accurate models based on engineer's drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Ensure project standards are met by accurately modelling complex geometries and assemblies.
  • Generate shop drawings, sections, and details from the model for fabrication, installation, and coordination.

Effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and other disciplines is essential to ensure design integrity and resolve clashes effectively.

  1. Participate in BIM coordination meetings to identify and resolve potential conflicts between different building systems.
  2. Employ clash detection software (e.g., Navisworks) to detect and rectify clashes early in the design process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an ACMV BIM modeller or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP and other relevant BIM software.
  • Strong understanding of ACMV design principles and standards.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
