  • Chief Materials Procurement Specialist
Key Responsibilities:

This role plays a vital part in the organization's procurement strategy for raw materials and components.

  • Developing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives through market research and trend analysis.
  • Leading supplier negotiations, contract management, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitoring global market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Driving cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternative sourcing, and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies align with product development and operational needs.
  • Ensuring sourcing practices comply with environmental regulations and support sustainability goals.
  • Analyzing spend data, supplier performance metrics, and market indices to prepare regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing, preferably in the plastics or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Deep understanding of plastic materials, global supply markets, and sustainability trends.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
