Job Title: Senior Building Operations Leader

Job Description:

As a pivotal member of our team, the successful candidate will oversee the building operations and lead the facilities team to ensure efficient execution of church activities.

  • Manage operating expenses and capital works, including renovations and refurbishments.
  • Sourcing and overseeing operations contracts, managing contract renewals.
  • Provide regular management reporting on CAPEX projects and operating expenses.
  • Monitor and manage performance of service providers according to established standards.
  • Maintain and upkeep all church facilities and buildings.
  • Coordinate with campuses and heads to ensure efficient execution of large-scale or external church activities.
  • Advise on measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and conduct fire safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
  • Forecast and propose necessary building operations budget.

Requirements:

  • Full-time call to ministry.
  • Degree in Facilities Management, Building & Project Management, or related field.
  • Dependable, responsible, independent, and resourceful individual with a positive mindset.
  • Strong team player willing to work alongside a hardworking team.
  • Self-initiated individual who can work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Equipped with sound analytical, organisation, and execution skills.
  • Good project management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in computer processing and systems skills.
  • Good track record of leadership experience and relevant experience in a similar environment.
