Ministry Coordinator: Coordinating Worship Services and Events

Description

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Ministry Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Worship & Music team and Pastors in planning, organizing, and implementing services, events, trainings, and activities in the Worship & Music ministry.

The role requires regular office hours but may involve occasional work on evenings and weekends (Holy Communion weeks and special services). Every effort will be made to keep such occasional work to a minimum, with appropriate time-off-in-lieu granted.

  • Organize operational workflows in the Worship & Music ministry, collaborating with Pastoral Team Staff, Pastors, and laity.
  • Prepare slides for English services weekly, using relevant software tools.
  • Maintain liturgical cloths in worship venues according to liturgical seasons.
  • Oversee care and maintenance of liturgical furnishings in various worship venues.
  • Ensure Altar Books are updated with correct Great Thanksgiving at each Communion Service.
  • Maintain Holy Communion element stock, including ordering, checking expiry, and storing consecrated elements.
  • Liaise with 3rd parties for special offerings.
  • Submit song reports to CCLI.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • An understanding of Methodist Church liturgy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Innovative teamwork, self-motivation, and pro-activity.
