Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Public Relations Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring media coverage, researching and drafting pitches, and arranging media interviews for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Monitoring: Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients.
  • Pitching and Research: Research and draft pitches for features, interviews, op-eds, and press releases.
  • Client Communication: Draft agendas and actions for client calls, as well as take internal meeting notes.
  • Event Research: Research client events and industry conferences.
  • Media List Building: Research and build media lists on an ongoing basis.
  • Pitching and Press Releases: Pitch press releases, op-eds, and feature stories.
  • Media Interviews: Arrange and manage media interviews for clients.
  • PR Campaigns: Assist in developing creative ideas for PR campaigns and clients, crafting and executing media strategies.
  • News Monitoring: Monitor and flag relevant news stories to the team.

Requirements:

  • Candidate Requirements: The candidate must have the right to work in Singapore.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the fintech, blockchain, or cryptocurrency space or have a genuine desire to learn about it.
  • Skills: Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail: be excellent at spelling, grammar, and proof-reading.
  • Motivation: High motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • News Sense: Strong news sense and a knack for storytelling.
  • Creativity: Flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media.
  • Communication: Willing to communicate with clients and media.
  • Platform Experience: Experience with a range of communication platforms (Telegram, Slack, X (formerly Twitter), and Discord).
