Technical Surveillance Specialist

Job Summary:

The CCTV Technical Surveillance Specialist is a key position responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance of Card Access Systems, CCTV Systems, Networks, Windows/Linux Servers, and Integrated Security Systems.

This role involves onsite support, routine and corrective maintenance, software enhancement, bug fixes, testing, and commissioning to meet contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security systems, troubleshooting skills, and experience in 24/7 standby operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and efficient onsite support for integrated security systems
  • Perform routine and corrective maintenance, including software enhancement, bug fixes, testing, and commissioning to meet contractual obligations
  • Collate reports and checklists of PM works for billing purposes and CM works report for filing
  • Prepare and update service checklists
  • Monitor spare parts availability to minimize downtime of systems and ensure that equipment is replaced before it reaches end-of-life (EOL) or end-of-sale (EOS) status
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and customers on site matters, work schedules, and quality of work
  • Support contract administration works, including ordering, billing milestones, O&M submission, operation manual submission, maintenance checklist, and asset list
  • Assist with ad-hoc and upgrade work during maintenance cycles

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in Security Systems Product
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills in CCTV, Door Access, and Alarm systems
  • Experience in 24/7 standby operations
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with a team player attitude
