Environmental compliance is critical to the success of any organization. Our team seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist to ensure we adhere to environmental laws and regulations.
As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing our environmental management systems (EMS) to minimize risks and improve performance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance : Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits in Singapore.
- EMS Development : Develop and implement EMS to manage environmental risks and improve performance.
- Environmental Impact Assessments : Conduct EIAs for new projects and activities.
- Sustainability Initiatives : Lead initiatives to reduce carbon footprint, conserve resources, and promote eco-friendly practices.
- Training and Education : Provide environmental training and education to employees to raise awareness and promote best practices.
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- Registered ECO : Must be a registered ECO with NEA.
- Experience : At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Construction is preferred.
- Leadership Skills : Self-driven and team player, who is also able to provide leadership and mentoring to reporting team.
- Interpersonal Skills : Good interpersonal skills including the ability to develop cooperative work relationship with peers and superiors.
