Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Emergency Preparedness Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing emergency preparedness equipment and consumables, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective emergency response planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage budgets and procurements for emergency equipment and consumables
  2. Collaborate with biomedical equipment department for maintenance, tracking, and deployment
  3. Serve as point of contact for MOH audits and equipment reports
  4. Review and evaluate hospital crisis equipment needs

Role in Emergency Response Planning & Exercises:

  • Review and integrate emergency standard operating procedures (SOPs) with stakeholders
  • Organize monthly fleet test exercises
  • Lead annual emergency drills and training exercises

Integrated General Hospital (IGH) Planning:

  • Participate in IGH operations centre workshops
  • Coordinate emergency planning with medical, campus, and user teams
  • Develop procurement plans and ensure timely acquisition of emergency items

Additional EP-related Duties:

  • Provide secretariat support for business continuity management (BCM) steering committee meetings
  • Assist in MOH-related emergency projects and initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry
  • Healthcare operations experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player with excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
