We are seeking an expert to contribute to the development of smart robotic and automation system projects. This role involves research on state-of-the-art algorithms, technologies, and tools, as well as evaluating and comparing pros and cons.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, computer science, or related engineering disciplines, with a focus on optimization, machine learning, robotics, and autonomous systems. Experience in R&D projects and a good track record of scientific publications are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and develop new algorithms and software modules for autonomous manufacturing, human-centric intelligent automation systems, and reconfigurable robotic systems.
  • Discuss project requirements with stakeholders and propose solutions based on their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with a team to validate solutions using virtual models, simulations, and physical prototypes.
  • Prepare technical documentation and make presentations to diverse audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in AI, computer science, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Strong basics in computing, data science, and AI applications related to robotic or autonomous physical systems.
  • Programming skills in Python, C/C++, and experience in developing data analysis, optimization, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Good problem-solving and analysis skills, as well as technical documentation and presentation skills.

This is a 3-year direct contract position. The company is located near Boon Lay MRT station and offers a competitive salary package.
