We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate pastry artisan to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will assist the head chef in preparing high-quality pastries and execute consistent recipes and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the head chef in pastry preparation, focusing on quality and consistency.
- Bake independently, adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Execute and maintain consistent recipes and presentation, ensuring high-quality results.
- Follow proper handling and temperature control of food products, prioritizing food safety and hygiene.
- Handle equipment safely and properly, minimizing risks and maintaining efficiency.
- Maintain workstations clean and tidy with proper hygiene practices, adhering to industry standards.
- Minimize wastage and spoilage of ingredients, optimizing resource utilization.
- Ensure proper hygiene practices according to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Singaporean and Local candidates only, possessing relevant qualifications and experience.
- Ideally at least 1 year of relevant experience, with a strong background in French baking techniques.
- Training provided, but willing to learn and have a strong passion for baking, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and during peak hours, adapting to changing demands and priorities.
- A valid food hygiene certificate will be an advantage, demonstrating a commitment to food safety and hygiene.
