Market Opportunities Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive profitable growth by developing and executing a trade strategy that strengthens the company's market position in Singapore.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement trade plans by analyzing global economic and political shifts to ensure alignment with the company's aspirations.
  • Conduct in-depth market intelligence to identify emerging trends, analyze competitor activities, and pinpoint new business opportunities.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and revenue generation to optimize profitability and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks stemming from market volatility, regulatory changes, or geopolitical events.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with critical customers and partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Maritime, Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience within the shipping, maritime or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including excellent analytical skills and the ability to anticipate future market trends and developments.
