Are you a strategic leader with exceptional trade management skills? We are seeking a Senior Trade Executive to join our team.

Job Description
  • We require an experienced professional to develop and implement voyage-based slot allocation strategies that maximize vessel utilization and profitability through data analysis and market trend monitoring.
  • The ideal candidate will control all slot activities, including purchasing, selling, and swapping, to ensure optimal vessel loading and cost-efficiency.
  • This role involves preparing and analyzing monthly volume, revenue, and budget reports; identifying trends and providing actionable insights for trade optimization.
  • You will act as a key liaison between Commercial, Operations, and external partners to align schedules, adjust services, and enhance overall performance.
  • Your expertise will be utilized to formulate Minimum Rate Guidelines (MRGs) and evaluate pricing requests to protect route profitability.
  • Collaboration with Sales is essential to gather market intelligence, define overbooking strategies, and set slot release thresholds.
Requirements
  • A minimum Diploma in Logistics, Shipping, Transportation or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the container shipping industry is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Pivot Table & VLOOKUP, is expected.
  • Candidates must have Mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.
