Logistics Coordinator Job Description

This is a senior administrative role that requires close liaison with customers and operations team on order fulfillment, inventory & shipment related activities.

  • Liaise closely with customers and operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment, inventory management and timely shipment of goods.
  • Work collaboratively with operations team to provide information and feedback to customers on operational issues and coordinate with customers to resolve all issues in a timely manner.
  • Generate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and transactional reports to internal and external customers on a regular basis.
  • Verify vendor invoices and liaise with vendors for any discrepancies or errors.
  • Monitor the usage of warehouse supplies and raise purchase orders for replenishment as needed.
  • Cordinate the urgent order fulfillment process with customers, operations and transportation teams.
  • E nsure the accuracy and timeliness of system transactions.
  • Perform other duties or tasks assigned by management as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in the logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and pressurized environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong team player qualities.
