Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Reintegration: Conduct thorough assessments of offenders to identify their needs and develop personalized reintegration plans.
  2. Community Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with community agencies, correctional facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of correctional counseling treatment services.
  3. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided, ensuring that offenders receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout their reintegration journey.
Technical Competencies
  1. Education and Experience: Possess a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Desistence, Risks, Needs, and Responsivity (RNR) Principle, as well as other relevant casework theories.

  1. Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with offenders, their families, and other stakeholders.
  2. Teamwork and Adaptability: Demonstrate a strong team player attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Relevant Experience: Possess prior experience working with offenders, either in a prison or community setting.
  2. Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles and roles of offender case management, as well as a strong grasp of relevant casework theories.
