AWS Vulnerability Management Role

We are seeking an AWS Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role will involve identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within our AWS infrastructure to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud services.

This includes conducting regular security assessments and vulnerability tests on our AWS services to identify potential threats and weaknesses.

The successful candidate will implement best practices in AWS security, including configuring security groups, IAM policies, monitoring tools, and maintaining VMS apps e.g. Tenable.

They will develop and maintain automated scripts for vulnerability scanning and reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will stay current with the latest security trends, tools, and AWS features to enhance our security posture.

Requirements
  1. Cloud Security Experience: Proven experience in cloud security, particularly within AWS environments.
  2. Security Principles: Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and risk management.
  3. Tenable AWS Services: Familiarity with Tenable AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
  4. Security Tools: Experience with security vulnerability tools and platforms.
  5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Certifications: Relevant AWS or RHEL certifications are advantageous.
