  • The ideal candidate will lead or contribute to root cause analysis of penetration test findings and drive remediations.
  • Responsibilities include implementing security tools such as GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, Inspector, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms.
  • This role requires guiding internal teams on secure development practices and cloud configurations.
  • Supporting incident response efforts and providing after-hours/weekend assistance as required is also a key aspect of this position.
  • The Cloud Security Specialist must stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and cloud hardening techniques.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Security (e.g., GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector) is mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of SSDLC, OWASP, and cloud security best practices is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment, pentesting, and SIEM/IDS tools is required.
  • Proficiency in IAM, secrets management, and container security (e.g., Kubernetes) is necessary. Comfortable with Linux, scripting, and open-source security tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CISSP, or AWS Security) are highly desirable.
