Cloud Security Architect Specialist

• In this challenging role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure hybrid cloud solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our clients. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in cloud security principles and practices to ensure that our solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Your primary focus will be on architecting and implementing robust cloud security controls, including identity management, data protection, network security, vulnerability management, and security monitoring. You will also design hybrid cloud architectures that seamlessly integrate on-premises infrastructure with public cloud services.
• To succeed in this position, you must have a deep understanding of cloud adoption policies, security guidelines (e.g., IM8), and compliance requirements. You should also be familiar with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and have hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings.
• You will work closely with sales and business development teams to define technical solutions, contribute to proposals, and present to clients. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• As a leader, you will oversee the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. You will also provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices and contribute to the development of cloud adoption frameworks, security policies, and best practices within the organization.

• The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and at least 5-7 years of experience in architecting and implementing cloud solutions. They should also have significant and demonstrable experience working with Singapore Government entities on their adoption of commercial cloud platforms.

  • Monitoring and managing cloud spending, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
