Job Description

As a senior sector coverage banker, you will play a key role in driving business growth and originating new deals within the Consumer, Retail & Healthcare sector. You will leverage your expertise in structuring finance, M&A advisory, and corporate finance to create value for our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Originate and support business with existing and prospective clients in APAC (excl Japan)
  • Leverage client relationships, sector knowledge, structuring expertise, and deal experience to drive business growth
  • Structure and execute corporate finance, acquisition finance (recourse / non-recourse), and other structured products (incl. securitization, project finance)
  • Engage in M&A advisory with Mizuho Securities Asia Ltd and other partners
  • Coordinate DCM, ECM and other activities with Mizuho entities
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 10+ years' experience in Consumer, Retail & Healthcare sector
  • 10+ years' experience in Investment Banking
  • Expertise in acquisition finance, sponsor-led LBO, ECM and M&A transactions
  • Connectivity with C-Suite executives in pivotal markets in North Asia
