Job Overview

The Senior Systems Architect is a key position responsible for overseeing the design, integration, and commissioning of satellite communication (SATCOM) systems. This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent project management skills to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of large-scale projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate SATCOM systems to meet contractual and project requirements.
  • Propose and generate SATCOM system architecture and designs based on customer specifications.
  • Perform detailed technical analysis and verification to validate system design and implementation.
  • Conduct design reviews and presentations with customers to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform proof-of-concepts and support overseas trials or demos to showcase system capabilities.
  • Responsible for SATCOM system configurations, acceptance, interface, and performance testing and commissioning.
  • Identify and rectify technical issues through root cause analysis.
  • Provide up-to-date project documentation and reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in SATCOM or related industry.
  • Proven track record in large-scale project implementation and delivery.
  • Experience with iDirect or other modem brands is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SATCOM terminals and RF equipment.
  • Ability to perform link budget analysis.
  • Experience with test tools and equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer and Network Tester.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and analytical mind.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver results under tight timelines.
