Job Title: Satellite Licensing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Satellite Licensing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing on licensing strategies for satellite systems in countries throughout APAC and the Pacific Islands.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential regulatory risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Additionally, you will engage with national and regional telecommunications organizations to shape regulations affecting NGSO communications systems and the use of Ka-band band and other frequencies for satellite services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute on licensing strategies in alignment with business and technical objectives
  • Secure and maintain necessary licenses for Kuiper services
  • Enhance customer experience by shaping national and regional policies and regulations
  • Engage in national and regional telecommunications organizations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., telecommunications)
  • 8+ years of experience securing licenses for telecommunications services and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Experience with licensing of satellite and/or telecommunications networks, and knowledge of NGSO communications systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
